Townsend Lumber Inc. is proud to announce that we now offer FSC® Certified wood and wood by-products to our customers. The FSC® Certification is an internationally recognized symbol of responsible practices both ethically and environmentally.

Through this certification Townsend Lumber is able to guarantee that products produced in our facility are not made from:

• Illegally harvested wood
• Wood harvested in violation of traditional and civil rights
• Wood harvested in forests where high conservation values are threatened by management activities
• Wood harvested in forests being converted to plantations or non-forest use
• Wood from forests in which genetically modified trees are planted

This certification is part of Townsend Lumber’s commitment to provide a higher standard of quality and integrity to our customers and to ensure that our products can be enjoyed for generations to come.
