Sub-Contract Opportunity

Regular Hours: 30-65 hours per week (weekdays only)

Compensation: To be negotiated with Company President

Requirements:

  • AZ License with clean CVOR driving record
  • Good condition late model tractor
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Good communication skills

Logistics:

  • Townsend Lumber uses two 5-axel Doepker trailers for delivery
  • All loads are in Southwestern Ontario with NO USA loads and NO overnight requirements
  • Typical workweek would be 7-12 hours/day, 5 days/week only with NO weekend requirement
  • Load schedule usually set 7-10 days in advance with adjustments as needed
  • Townsend Lumber supplies and maintains trailers, loads, and schedule
  • Each load is loaded the day prior to delivery
  • Two trailers in a daily rotation
    • You provide driver/tractor at an hourly rate
    • Time in the yard – time out of the yard
    • Payment NET 5 days after invoice received
    • Payment weekly or bi-weekly
