For 40 years, the Townsend family has been dedicated to producing the finest quality hardwood lumber that Canada has to offer. To get the best lumber, you need the best trees. That’s why, at Townsend Lumber Inc., 90% of our timber comes from woodlands we either own or manage. Our forest management program allows us to control both the quality and the quantity of logs coming into our yard, and to manage the supply of standing timber we have ready to cut.

The Townsend mill and our subsidiary sawmills, Kitchener Forest Products, and Bass Lake Sawmill produce a total of more than 24,000,000 board feet of hardwood lumber annually. We are proud to operate the largest and most modern mill in the region.
